WHY TRAVERTINE
The first reason is that it looks beautiful. This is why travertine is a popular natural stone. Another advantage of choosing travertine to use in your property is the wide selection in terms of color and finishing.

The most challenging thing about natural stones is not being able to match easily with each other. This may be an issue especially in marble tiles. However, when it comes to travertine tiles, matching is not a problem at all. The variation of colors in these tiles is high, causing them to be easily matchable, even when you need to replace some in the future. Builders like travertine because of this variation factor, as well as it being an easy material to work with, cut and manipulate.

FAMOUS BUILDINGS MADE OF TRAVERTINE
Travertine has been utilized in construction since early civilization, the most famous one being the Roman Coliseum. The Getty Center in Los Angeles, the lobby of the Willis Tower in Chicago, and the first floor of the UCLA Medical Center are some examples of the extensive use of travertine in modern construction.

Now, you are all set to choose from many travertine sinks to compliment your design. DEKO Tile is now offering free shipping for the most exclusive sinks with a huge variety for very affordable prices. There hasn’t been a better time to add some luxury to your bathroom.

In volume travertine tiles have risen in popularity over the last 5 years, in a market historically dominated by marble tiles on the natural side as well as local slate, stone tiles and the usual ceramic, porcelain alternatives. Geologically Travertine is a Marble wannabe, however yet does not show the glazy effect a marble would have after polishing.
